Human Body | Review Lesson
This 90-minute review lesson helps students revisit the main human body systems, their functions, and how they work together to keep the body healthy. Students will engage in short teacher-led review, partner practice, whole-class games, and a quick exit assessment.

Ask students to name any body systems they remember. Record answers on the board and briefly review correct responses.
Share prior knowledge and respond orally.
Use pictures or a chart to review the skeleton, muscles, heart, lungs, digestive system, circulatory system, respiratory system, and nervous system. Keep explanations short and simple.
Listen, repeat vocabulary, and take brief notes or draw quick symbols.
Give each pair cards with body system names and function statements. Model one example, then have students match each system to its function.
Work with a partner to match cards and explain their thinking.
Call out a body system or function for students to act out or describe. Give quick feedback and correct misconceptions.
Act, guess, and say the correct system name or function.
Draw a simple chart with columns for system, main job, and one example. Fill in one row together, then have students complete the rest in notebooks.
Complete the chart individually with teacher support as needed.
Give each student an exit ticket with 3 short questions: name a system, state its function, and explain how two systems work together.
Answer independently and submit before leaving.
Review the most important ideas from the lesson and praise student participation.
Share one fact they learned or remembered.
Students share one important fact about the human body and the teacher restates that body systems work together to keep the body healthy and active.
Exit ticket with three short responses: name one body system, describe its function, and explain how two body systems work together.
