Display space images and review familiar ideas in the target language. Model the key vocabulary once, then ask students to repeat silently or softly to themselves.
Look at the images, recall prior knowledge, and repeat or note the vocabulary words in their notebooks.
Provide a word bank and briefly model pronunciation and meaning. Clarify any difficult words and point out spelling patterns.
Study the word bank, copy difficult words, and practice pronunciation independently using the model as a guide.
Give students a matching task with words, pictures, and short definitions. Circulate to support students who need help.
Complete the matching activity on their own and check answers using the word bank.

Write independently, revise spelling, and use the target language to describe planets, astronauts, or a space trip.
Ask students to read their writing aloud quietly to themselves or to a partner if appropriate. Model how to self-correct pronunciation and phrasing.
Practice reading aloud, self-correct pronunciation, and mark any words they want to improve.
Review the lesson focus and ask students to reflect on which words or tasks were most challenging. Collect work or have students place it in a folder.
