Point to your own body parts and name them one by one. Ask students to repeat and touch each part.
Repeat the names, point to the same body parts on themselves, and listen for directions.
Show a body poster or drawing. Point to each part and give a simple function, such as 'Eyes help us see.' Ask students to echo the sentence.
Echo the teacher, answer simple questions, and connect each body part to its job.
Give students a body outline or poster. Model how to place labels or point to the correct body part. Guide students step by step as they match labels or color the named parts.
Follow directions, place labels, point to body parts, and complete the matching task with support.
Lead a quick 'Simon Says' game using body parts and actions, such as 'touch your head' or 'wiggle your fingers.'
Perform the movements when instructed and show understanding through action.
Review the body parts learned and ask a few quick oral questions.
Answer orally, repeat key words, and prepare to finish the lesson.
End by having students show one body part they learned today and say what it does. Praise effort and review the key words together.
